David Demarest

Senior Partner | Principal

David serves as Principal-in-charge and Design Principal for most Architecture Demarest projects. His personal involvement assures direct communication and united direction within the design disciplines. He has been involved in over $1 billion in construction value throughout the course of his career.

David has lectured and served on panels for the Urban Land Institute, the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Association of College and University Housing Officers (ACUHO), The National Association of Homebuilders, and the Texas Society of Architects. David is published nationally on a regular basis in industry publications including: Talking Stick Magazine, School Construction News, Multihousing News, American School and University and Urban Land.

David graduated from Texas Tech University in 1977 and has been a registered architect in Texas since 1981, and is registered in 21 additional states by reciprocity. David serves on the board of directors for the Friends of the Katy Trail, and on the Board for the Trinity Strand Trail, and is active with the Boy Scouts of America through Crew 718.
