Architecture Demarest provided A/E services for two phases of on-campus student housing for Austin College in Sherman, Texas. Phase II, completed in 2020, added 38 units / 133 beds of apartment style housing. The community consists of one 3-story building. Students have the option of two and four-bedroom apartment style units. An additional 8 units / 32 units of cottage style housing was planned as a future phase. AD employed complementary architecture style, similar material palates and color selection to tie the building to the surrounding campus and neighborhood.
