MOMENTUM VILLAGE TEXAS A&M
Corpus Christi, TX
Architecture Demarest developed Phase II of the Momentum Village student housing project with American Campus Communities for Texas A&M in Corpus Christi. Located across the street from the Gulf of Mexico, students enjoy an ideal environment by the water. With a total of 144 units and 560 beds, the project is composed of two L-shaped four story buildings, three townhome buildings and a Community Building articulated around a courtyard. The Community Building connects the two phases, offering students a generous and bright space with clerestory windows and a large wrap-around porch. Its multi-purpose space, game room and study areas create a social, recreational and educational amenity space for students to enjoy. The courtyard offers a volleyball court, outdoor cooking area and shaded seating for the students to enjoy.
